A greeting and a soup!

Hello everyone!

I decided to create a blog where I review different types of canned soups. I am tired of the advertising wars that exist between the soup companies and I thought it would be best to hear a review from a real person.

If anything I can keep record of what soups I liked and what ones I will steer away from.

Soup number one!

Progresso Potato Broccoli and Cheese Chowder

Thoughts while eating!

This soup has a really good texture but if you let it sit in your bowl (while you type a blog about it) It will get a bit of a skin.

A very creamy and tasty base

Lots of Potatoes (but they seem a bit small)

Very filling

The low down

Consistency- B ((For a chowder it was a bit thin, but it still had a good consistency was not watery at all))

Soup to Stuff ratio- B ((Lots of potatoes but they were kind of tiny, there wasn't a whole lot of Broccoli))

Price- This soup cost me about 2.50 a can. Most Progresso soups are around that range

Reheatability?- No Not with this soup. It grew a skin after setting in room temp. Would not reheat well.

Feeds?- One can will probably be enough to feed a couple. Unless the man eats like a ..man. Then you may need more than one can.

(Let me know if you think there is anything else I should cover in my reviews. Thanks and Enjoy!!)
